strawberry begonia

I really love the look of the strawberry begonia aka saxifraga stolonifera. It reminds me of my childhood picking tiny strawberries at the edge of the house, the huge hill in the backyard. Here's a hill in a terrarium with a unicorn. With one plant I bought for $5, I put the runners in one open style terrarium and planted the main plant in a pot under a cloche (with an air opening). It pains me to water plants that don't like water on their leaves. This plant acts like the episcia with wet leaves leading to rot. An enclosed terrarium has too much humidity for this cute houseplant. I found the unicorn at the Scott Antique Markets a few years ago.
