humidity

It seems the air in my apartment is very dry since I usually mist my terrariums twice a day, morning and night. A lightbulb went off tonight--Maybe I should put my airplants in a terrarium, an open one of course, but one where I could keep the humidity levels higher than the normal environment. They seem to be drying out very quickly, more so than a month ago. Do plants shrink when they need more water? I've noticed my office spathiphyllum shrinking... The weekend is here at last--I hope to find more glass containers.
